Below is an advert for Ed Sheeran's album '+'. It clearly shows the different ways that the album can be bought (through itunes, amazon, hmv etc). This appears to be a popular trait for advertisements for album digipacks. The artists' face is in the centre, this is good for the audience because it is visibly clear who the advertisement is for. We need to take this into account when making our poster advertisement.
An identical image of the artist has been used on both the album front cover and the advertisement. This could be to create a visual link between the album and the advert. His sightlines show he appears to be looking straight towards the viewer. This creates a link between artist and viewer.
